Kwik Llewellyn, an Arkansas farmer, has confessed to the murder of 25-year-old Sidney Sutherland.
On August 25, 2020, the 25-year-old nurse went for a jog in Newport, a city in the US state of Arkansas. Along the way, I met 29-year-old Llewellyn, who this week was sentenced to life in prison. He writes for several media, including independent And the people.
Llewellyn is said to have told he was driving in Sutherland when she was walking down the road. He confessed to raping and killing her afterwards.
In the days after the 25-year-old was reported missing, an extensive search was conducted.
Among those who participated was the same perpetrator. He was also a member of the Facebook group created in connection with the research process.
Sutherland was found dead two days later – near Llewellyn’s residence. The 29-year-old was arrested just days after his discovery, The Independent writes.
The police confirmed the existence of a relationship between the deceased and the perpetrator, but did not want to reveal the type of this relationship.
The motive behind the murder is unknown.
