Great farmer Great Enlid (50 years old) was forced last week to go to the market on her own, as her assistants, Hermann Herberth Herding (24) and Kari Gunnar Säkert Beurengsoy (35) were in a duel against each other last week.
Enlid chose Bjøringsøy as the first champion, as a tactical move forward for Farmen’s life. The shepherd was chosen to be the second colossus, and therefore both helpers had to row to the gigantic cabins, and spend the next day there.
Alone in the market, Enlaid got what it would have spent the 20 kroner on, when it was approved for the weekly assignment despite numerous sabotage attempts.
Although it was a pleasure to go to the market with the money, Enlaid had to shed tears.
Find out why Grethe Enlid crashed into the market in the video above the can.
stir up emotions
The participants are in their sixth week on the farm, and many are beginning to long for those near and dear to the house.
For Enlid, a private meeting at the market was her break.
After she won a box with many goodies at auction in the market, she met a little boy who was playing the ring game.
– I see a little boy after the auction, so I took a look at him. Today I’m feeling some homesickness, says Enlid choked with tears on Sunday’s episode.
The reason Enlaid shed tears was because her husband had a birthday.
– I miss them at home. She says I don’t know anything.
Surprised
Usually, TV viewers are accustomed to seeing a boiled trønder on the screen. When TV 2, called her, she explained that she was a tough lady, but that she would soon burst into tears if she was touched.
In the market, it was a very emotional moment for her.
– It was my husband Stig’s birthday, and I knew it was a birthday party at home in Trondheim with all the people I love most in the whole world. Then I got really upset, she says.
You weren’t expecting to behave like this.
– I became very emotional, which I did not expect. It wasn’t planned at all, so I was surprised by my reaction.
While on the farm, Enlid says she didn’t feel strongly about losing those in the house.
Farmen-Carr won the duel – that’s how he reacted
– I had an aha on the second day. Then it became so real that I would have been away from them for three months. But then, I didn’t “miss” 2021. I knew they’d be there when I went out. She explains that it came to me a lot in the market.
violent
When she was at the market, Enlid tears down so much that she had to take a break from the camera team that filmed her.
– It was heavy – a strange feeling. I spent a long time recovering, ignoring those feelings before I got back to the farm, she says and continues:
– She was very special. Especially because I was there on my own. I didn’t have Thorvald, Kåre, or Anette that I could count on. So I had to spend some time in the assembly.
However, it seems good that she had this experience as her own, as she didn’t have to explain or justify why she was shedding tears.
– It was just me and my feelings, which were very nice. It’s a moment I will always remember.
unstable
It is no secret that the participants of Farmen enter the famous “bubble” when isolated from the outside world. Although Enlid would have liked to take a phone call home to her loved ones, she chose to remain very good at it – unlike Some of the other participants.
– It was a time of reflection, and you should appreciate those you love – and those who love me. She says I value my family more than others in the whole world.
Because although the man’s 51st birthday was painful, Enlaid was also worried about her daughter while she was on the farm. Shortly before Enlid returned to 1921, her daughter returned to Norway, when her contract with football in Italy expired. Where she was going next was uncertain.
– I’ve thought a lot about where she is. We had hoped that there would be an explanation of where she was going before I went to the farm – but it didn’t. I just had to put this idea away, put it in the bottom drawer and close it. She says I would have been so sad if I started thinking about it.
Fortunately, things went well with her daughter, and today she plays football in Portugal.
Do you think you would have felt the loss just as strongly if your assistants had been with you?
– Maybe I had that feeling anyway. But it was a strange feeling – completely uncontrollable. I’ve never felt it as strongly as I did at the time.
