The European Commission party in Germany is just around the corner. While we are here in Norway, joint showings of the matches will be arranged at Kontraskjæret in Oslo, and Danish channel DR and TV 2 have chosen a slightly different solution.
– They are trying to kill the football party, says Kjeld Hansen, owner of the Rondelen café in Nørrebro, Copenhagen.
He is one of many people who planned to showcase the European football championship at his bar in the Danish capital.

DR Director, Anders Kern Boje, points to the agreement with the European Union which, according to him, stipulates that they must have control over all external events that show the European Commission.
– We are in dialogue with the events of the big screen, and we did not hear that anyone in Aarhus said anything about the demand. He says there is no one we told no to.
Danske TV 2 will have a large display at the harbor in Aarhus, while DR will host in Copenhagen.
