There has been a lot of excitement over whether Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (41) will be invited to King Charles’ (74) coronation in May, after Prince Harry’s many revelations about the royal family.
This month it became known that the Sussex couple had been invited to the coronation, but that there were other family members who had to stay home during coronation day.
Angry after the shock image
– Very attractive
according to The telegraph Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s two children, Prince Archie, 3, and Princess Lilibet, 1, were not invited.
According to Se og Hør’s royal house expert, Caroline Fagel, there is a natural explanation for not inviting grandchildren.
– The children of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are simply too young, I think. A long, serious ceremony in church can be unbearable for the little ones, so I think the decision is made with consideration for the little ones, Vagle explains.
They have a very special bond
– Besides, perhaps it would not be entirely appropriate during such a celebration with disturbances from those who would naturally struggle to sit still? At least that’s what the Brits think, because the children of Prince William and Princess Kate weren’t allowed to join either of them until they were a little older. For example, only their two oldest children attended Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.
At the same time, there are other events where the youngest are self-appointed guests.
The picture reveals the truth
– When the framework surrounding the event was looser, it was so common that even the youngest were allowed to participate. Like, for example, the concert on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s accession to the throne. Then Prince Louis was also allowed to attend, and you can see that he found it more difficult to sit still than the older siblings. Just very charming, I think!
– But one can understand that on other occasions, such as the historic coronation, it can be much more difficult for both young and old.
Has anyone checked the calendar?
The coronation date may not be ideal for the princely couple. Prince Archie is four years old today.
As serendipitous as it may be, many people have previously interacted with the serendipity on Twitter.
– hardly accidental
“Isn’t that strange? A grandfather steals the spotlight from his grandson,” someone wondered.
Another asked if “no one checks the calendar before making an appointment.”
However, others think it was a nice gesture and it was crowned on the same day as Archie’s birthday.
However, some suggest that the date may be a tribute to King George V’s grandfather who became king on May 6, 1910. The date of his coronation was June 22, 1911.
“It is the anniversary of the accession of George V as king, founder of the House of Windsor. The Sussex family is not the center of the world.”
The coronation ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey in London, where King Charles and Queen Camilla (75) will be crowned king and queen.
