On Saturday, Post Malone had to cancel a concert in St. Louis after falling off stage.
– I got hit by myself, Post Malone says, in a video he posted Twitter Sunday.
The artist, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, is referring to an incident that occurred during his private concert on Saturday, in which
Videos from the accident showed the artist entering a covered hole, before falling and writhing in pain for several minutes.
In the video he has now posted on Twitter, he explains what happened:
– When we do the acoustic part of the show, the guitar and stand go down, and a big hole punches. I turned and walked, and snorted so hard, he says in the video.
Post Malone had to cancel the concert and leave the stage – but according to TMZ He came back 15 minutes later to finish the party.
The site wrote that this despite the fact that he was apparently in excruciating pain and clutching his chest when he sang.
In the video Malone posted on Twitter, it appears that he was sent to the hospital after the accident.
– We just got back from the hospital, and everything is fine. They gave me some painkillers so I’ll continue the tour.
The artist also wishes to apologize to the audience who got a slightly different ceremony, and thanks them for their patience.
– I just want to apologize to everyone in St. Louis and I want to thank you for coming. Next time I’m here, I’ll give you a two-hour show, to make up for the few songs we missed, he says.
