Avinor's overview suggests that at Oslo Airport, the last flight left at 6 p.m.

NTB spoke to a passenger on a flight that was due to take off from Gardermoen shortly after 6.30pm, but the pilot there said air traffic control was down across the country and the entire system was down.

– Airspace is now closed across southern Norway due to the Røyken challenges. The airspace is currently closed. We are doing our best to identify the error and reroute traffic. It's too early to say when that will happen, Kathryn Fuglesang Fromholt, communications manager at Aviner, tells NTB.

Passengers are advised to travel to airports as usual.

Several aircraft were in the airspace of southern Norway when the message came from Avinor. These flights may be allowed to land, says Austin Scar, operations manager at Bergen Airport Flesland. Bergen Newspaper.
