Bodø/Glimt have received a record offer for midfielder Albert Gronbæk (23 years old), and according to Nettavisen's information, the offer should have come from Ligue 1 side Rennes.

On Monday, it became known that intensive negotiations and talks had taken place about the Dane's possible transfer.

Glimt are not keen on selling Grønbæk in the first place. However, the midfield gem is himself interested in a move to Rennes, and talks are ongoing to find a solution that satisfies all parties.

Bodø/Glimt and coach Kjetil Knutsen will soon play important Champions League qualifiers and would prefer not to lose their best players.

Albert Gronbäck did not wish to speak to Avisa Nordland or other media during Tuesday's training.

The offer received by Glimt is much higher than the amount that led to the most expensive sale ever for the Eliteserien. That happened in January 2023, when former Molde striker David Datro Fofana (21 years old) disappeared from the Aker Stadium to Chelsea.
