15-year-old Emilia and her 49-year-old mother died in a car accident on the E16 motorway outside Hofors, Sweden.
They were on their way home from a football match when the car in front of them hit a minibus, the Swedish wrote among other things. Aftonbladet. No one in the minibus should be injured.
Emilia played soccer at Sandvikens IF, which expresses her heartbreak in one statement.
“Thank you, Emilia, for everything you have given to your family, friends, teammates, leaders and everyone who loves you. Your time on earth was short, but your memory will always last in Sandvikens IF”, writes the club, among other things.
The club’s captain, Anders Ericsson, says all thoughts go to those close to him and his family.
It’s a terrible accident, says Erickson.
Emilia’s team met on the same night as the accident.
– It’s shocking and sad. Erickson says it’s good to get together and do it together.
The club states that the club’s text and photo of Emilia were published in consultation with the family.
