Pettosteln (VG) Harald Ostberg Amundsen (23) was handed over as he had to secure the last available place for the World Cup opening. National team coach Eric Mer-Nasom believes that the match is between three men.
– I have good cards. A victory and seventh place, showing that I’ve mastered two techniques, Amundsen tells VG.
On Sunday Amundsen won the 15km finish by 2.4 seconds against Sjur Røthe, who sabbath broke, and 14.3 seconds to Emile Iverson. Many participated in the victory battle for a long time.
– It was a tough race. There were many who walked quickly, but then I was able to muster up and advance very quickly in the end. So I’m happy about that, says Victor.
– Amundsen says it was great to lean in my way.
The question now is who will now get the last World Cup place in Finland next weekend.
Hans Christer Holland, Emil Iversen, Johannes Husfluth Klapow, Pal Golberg, and Semen Hegstad Kreuger have already been directed.
Recently, Amundsen received references to an Instagram photo:
According to national team coach Eric Mer-Nossum, the last place is between Harvard Mosby (4th on Sunday), Eric Valnes (15th) and Harald Ostberg Amundsen (1st).
– Sjur woke up a day late, Nossum tells VG.
In other words, the national team management values Saturday’s race in the classics, as it should be at Roca and the Olympics, more than Sunday’s snowboarding race.
On Saturday, Harvard stunned Mosby in the 15km classic with third place behind Hans Christer Holland and Emil Iversen. Mosby had another big race on Sunday and finished fourth.
It’s a little ridiculous for Amundsen to win. Then my chances would be a little lower for Ruka, but no matter how I pull off, I’m very happy with the weekend, Moseby tells VG.
Expected to be a career model:
Roth’s Sgur broke on Saturday because his body wasn’t working. On Sunday, try again. And this time it was completely different beats.
– I had very good help from my teammates. Emil Iversen gave me sweets, baked goods and pizza. It helps, Roth tells VG.
Pål Golberg also got a boost after a poor race on Saturday. He told VG after finishing fifth on Sunday that he would consider quitting Roca with a bad race on Sunday as well.

– It’s one of the best skating races, Iversen tells VG.
The race may be the nail in the Olympic coffin for both Dedrick Tonseth and Finn Hagen Krug, but they have a chance to show themselves at Lillehammer later in the season.
The World Cup kicks off in Ruka, Finland on Friday, Friday, before two distance races take place.
