Many families have experienced how slowly the disease gets worse, and the same goes for us naturally. So I speak as a family member, but with the utmost humility to the band, the best fan base you could ask for, plus this extraordinary honor.
Moreover, the disease does not appear to be life-threatening at present, but a diagnosis of cancer cannot be cured.
When the group’s vocalist met with the journalists present after the speech, he described the news as “totally devastating.”
