Robert Lewandowski has scored goals for Barcelona this season. The Pole became LaLiga’s top scorer with 23 goals.
Together with his wife Anna Lewandowska and daughters Clara and Laura, they seem to have settled in well in the Catalan capital.

– This place made me happy, and the fans supported me a lot. The atmosphere at the club is very good, Lewandowski said in an interview with TV2 earlier this year.

But Robert isn’t the only one active in everyday life. Anna practices karate.
This led to her receiving several offers, which she revealed on the podcast WojewodzkiKedzierski.
– I had coffee with Slawomir Peszko, President of KSW, and he asked me to try something new. He estimated that it would take two years of preparation. I told him I would discuss it with my husband first, says Anna Lewandowska.
KSW is the largest mixed martial arts federation in Poland. It is a full-contact martial art that allows joint locks, throws, takedowns, chokes, kicks and punches, elbows and knees.

The discussion with her star boyfriend wasn’t enough for the footballer’s wife.
– I left the meeting and an hour later I appeared in the media. My husband found out through the press and asked: “Anna, what are you doing?”.
Even Anna Lewandowska could point to a WC bronze, but MMA never materialized, according to the reaction from Barcelona’s profile.
– I told Robert that if I weren’t his wife, I probably would, she says.

Barcelona won the Spanish League by a full ten points from arch-rivals Real Madrid this season, led by Poland.
– It was a big step, but I like myself here. It was quite a challenge to go here, but now I’m looking forward to continuing,” he told TV2.
