I think they have a goal
Pupils were evacuated from the school, after being locked up for a while.
There are three different schools in the area. Among others, Rudsdale Newcomer and Bay Area Technology School (BayTech). The Newcomers School accepts, among other things, newly arrived refugees, according to its website.
Katie Nielsen, a KPIX 5 reporter at the scene, says law enforcement sources indicate that the school may have been a planned target.
It also reported that there could be up to three shooters and that they are not in the area right now.
