Rooney refused to meet Everton
Wayne Rooney is one of the managers that Everton were interested in speaking with about the managerial vacancy.
That’s after Rooney has been impressed with the work he’s done at doomed Derby County this season, where against all odds they still have a chance of survival in the championship.
Rooney has now confirmed that Everton has contacted his agent, but has refused to enter into Everton talks.
Wayne Rooney says he turned down the opportunity to talk to him Tweet embed Re-position of the manager. “Everton approached my agent and asked me for a job interview. Lower his voice. Bernard’s new coach
Turkey side Akon Eligali recently acquired Hull City, with Deschon Bernard on loan from United.
Then it did not help much to achieve good results against the top teams in recent matches: manager Grant McCann disappeared from the club, and is now replaced by Georgian Shota Arviladze.
Arveladze currently has a more impressive player career than his coaching career, but the most important thing for us is that he continues to give Bernard confidence in defence.
Hull City is pleased to announce the appointment of Shota Arveladze as the club’s new head coach on a two-and-a-half year deal.

Wall Street Journal: No help from West Ham
Chelsea won 2-0 at home against West Ham in a pending Women’s Football League match on Wednesday, bringing Emma Hayes’ side past Manchester United. tables.
They are now one point ahead of United and have one game left (and will also face United at home at Kingsmeadow later in the season), so United’s ambitions now have more to do with a move to Manchester City.
West Ham are seventh, seven points behind United, who are third.
Two players on the tour team
Vilde Bøe Risa and Hayley Ladd make up the midfield in the WSL League team for the tour.
It has to be said that it was former United goalkeeper Siobhan Chamberlain who knocked out the squad, but she never played for Ladd or Boy Ressa (Chamberlain was pregnant the season she co-branded with Ladd at the club), which is probably sporting reasons for choosing the United duo here.
Both scored in the 3-0 win over Tottenham.
