(Albania – Spain 0-1) Spain completed the group stage of the European Championship perfectly. Albania's final race was spoiled by field storms.

It was all or nothing for Albania: only a win over Spain, or the weak theory of a draw, was enough to qualify for the last 16 of the European Championship.

But after a little over fifteen minutes, they had a very small cold shower.

With millimeter precision, Dani Olmo elegantly passed to Ferran Torres who passed the ball into the far corner to make it 1-0.

This is the 24-year-old's 20th goal for the national team in 44 appearances for Spain.

– I have always been clear about this, and I want to continue writing history with Spain. I will not stop until I achieve this, says the goalscorer Mundo Deportivo.

– Albania made a really good effort. They were positive and tried to make it happen, and that's something we have to give them credit for, says Jose Fonte, who won the European Championship with Portugal in 2016. BBC Two.

As Albania entered the final race, the unsporting focus was stolen once again.

Because in the last minutes we had another match in EC where one of the track players reached the grass – a constant problem in this tournament.

Especially in the match between Türkiye and Portugal, the security in the stadium had to start working six times. Everyone wanted a piece of one of the European Commission's biggest stars – Cristiano Ronaldo.

This time the guards controlled the intruder relatively quickly.

The win means that Spain will qualify after the group stage A full bowl in three games.

The last time Spain managed this was in 2008. Then they went all the way and won the European Championship.

Only two other teams have managed to achieve the same thing.

Before the last match in the group stage, Spain were already the winners of the group after defeating Croatia and Italy.

In the Round of 16, they will face the third group from Group A, D, E or F. The three in Group A are Hungary, but it remains to be seen whether they will be among the top four teams.
