The 33-year-old had to go to hospital after being hit in the head with a mobile phone during a concert.
The Grammy-nominated artist had to stop his concert in Manhattan, New York on Sunday, when a fan threw a phone at the stage. I hit her in the head.
Rexha was taken to the hospital after the accident.
On Monday, she took to social media — wearing both Band-Aid and a large bruise over one eye — to let fans know she’s okay.
– I’m fine, yes, I feel fine, she sings in a video on TikTok, and according to the news agency, she uses program Lyric from her song “I’m Good (Blue)” with David Guetta.
“I’m fine,” she wrote on Instagram, or “Jeg har dit pr” in Norwegian.
A 27-year-old man was arrested after the incident, but has now been released. Among other things, he is accused of harassment and assault.
According to court documents, he was said to have told a third party that he would try to reach Rexha on the phone near the end of the concert because he thought it “would be fun.” The man’s lawyer has not yet responded to an AP inquiry.
Police said the accident occurred on the Pier 17 platform in Manhattan.
