Vikersund (Dagbladet): Stefan Kraft won the race. Halvor Aegner Granerud came in fourth place. A long-awaited recovery for Granrud, who has had a difficult season.
Johan Andre Forfang disappointed with his 22nd place finish, but is still on the podium in the Raw Air competition overall.
Benjamin Ostvold made a huge jump of 230 metres, but was removed from the results list. It is shaggy due to the length of the ski.
-We are not being brainwashed
He told Dagbladet that he had difficulty eating in recent days. This resulted in him losing a lot of weight and being “extremely tired” throughout the weekend.
-I ingested some bacteria. Things just worked out. I didn't get anything to sit on. We tried everything, but I couldn't do anything about it. I didn't try to drink water before I went up, but it took five minutes before it came out. It doesn't help when you have to run to the toilet, he explains.
Ostvold points out that he knew there was a risk of being robbed.
At NRK, there was a lot of surprise about the reason for this launch.
– This is something he must have control over, says expert Johan Remmen Evensen on NRK.
– It is rare to see jumps. As a rule, the jumpsuit is the cause of the cuts, says NRK commentator Christian Nielsen.
The men will skip the Sunday morning competition round after Saturday's race was cancelled. They jump into the team competition at 15.30.
