Three days before Christmas, Andreas Georgesson (41) signed a three-year contract as Lillestrom’s new coach. In slide 21 of the Bird Calendar, the Swede talked about how he wants to form his LSK team.

Ahead of the press conference in which Georgesson was introduced as LSK’s new coach, we sat down to get to know the man who will best lead the team in the next few years.
-I feel proud, excited and happy, and I look forward to starting work. “I like the identity of the club and the culture here,” says Georgeson, who consulted, among other things, with his former Malmö club teammate, Uwe Rösler, before accepting the job.
“We will dominate and create many scoring chances,” says the 1982 model about how he wants LSK to look under him.
Chairman Morten Kochem has this to say about the process that ended with the 41-year-old Swede – with a background from Malmo, Brentford, Arsenal and Southampton – signing a three-year contract.
-We went through a long and comprehensive process in which we were clear about the type of coach we wanted. We are so happy that Andreas is now where he is. “He is a strong, professionally hungry coach who fits our profile and will develop what has been established here in recent years,” says Kochem.
A warm welcome to our new head coach in Lillestrom!
