Former cross-country star Bjørn Dæhlie was among the initiators of Anaxo Capital when the company was founded in 2010.

The fund invests in stocks with a focus on the Oslo Stock Exchange, as well as bonds and real estate.

The annual accounts show that in 2023, there was a profit from trades made in the market. Gains from the sale of shares and securities amounted to NOK 162 million, while losses amounted to NOK 133 million. Both parts were lower than in 2022, and the “surplus” here was smaller in 2023 than in 2022.

Meanwhile, Anaxo received larger profits, totaling NOK 78 million. An increase in value rather than the previous year's sharp downward revision and increased interest income also lifted the result, although property write-offs jumped to $37 million.

Anaxo's operating profit reached NOK 93.2 million in 2023, up from NOK 15 million the previous year.
