Brooke Shields with a surprising shoe choice on the red carpet

The red carpet is usually the place where celebrities find their best stuff — or can borrow it. Sometimes some also beat the big drum and surprise with unusual details in front of the photographers.

Actress Brooke Shields, 59, recently did just that when she presented an award at the Tony Awards.

– It's a miracle that I survived

On this occasion, she wore a light yellow dress that reached the floor, with a deep neckline.

Still, it's not about the dress she's making headlines with now, but rather her choice of shoes.

The famous Instagram star, known among others as “The Blue Lagoon”, wrote that she appeared on the red carpet just three days after the shoot.

She asked her followers: “What does a girl do?”, before writing:

“Wear Crocs. That's what you have to do.”

So she matched her bright yellow Crocs to her party dress. In the comments section, naturally there were many who noticed the details.

“Yellow crocs are as classic as you are. You look amazing,” one follower wrote.

In preparation for the wedding, Princess Märtha Louise and Doric Verret talked about the wedding on the red carpet. Reporters: Thea Hope and Ken Falch/Red Runner.

Another wrote: “I love crocodiles, girl.”

“You're the only one who can make this look good. Beautiful,” reads a third comment, while a fourth writes:

“You're probably the most comfortable woman out there.”
