In February, the sad news came that actor Bruce Willis, 68, had frontotemporal dementia.
Family: relief
Willis, one of the world’s most popular and award-winning actors, the family has made no secret of the difficulty of dealing with the 68-year-old’s disease diagnosis.
When he recently celebrated his birthday, his wife, Emma Heming Willis, 44, shared a touching message.
– I often get messages from people who say I’m too strong, and that they don’t understand how I manage this. But I don’t have a choice. I wish I had, but I’m also raising two kids in the middle of this.
Recently speaking out about her husband’s dementia, she shared a heartbreaking update, according to The Australian News.
With a prayer: – Keep your distance
– I tried her beauty
Heming Willis attended a screening of his new documentary, Little Empty Boxes, which deals with dementia. There she honestly told about the prognosis of the 68-year-old.
When you live with someone with dementia, you know there are few treatment options, she told the audience.
– But not everyone lies for this reason, and this is how changes are brought about, and I had the opportunity to experience its beauty, she added.
After the shock news broke, the 44-year-old shared a number of fond memories with her husband.
– very lonely
The couple got married in 2009. Guests included Willis’ ex-wife, Demi Moore (60), and her daughter Rumer (34).
In the spring of 2022, Willis was diagnosed with aphasia, and it was her daughter who first shared the sad news of her developing dementia, in an Instagram post.
“Unfortunately, communication challenges are only one of the symptoms of the disease Bruce is facing. Although this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clearer diagnosis.”
