PAF’s organisation, Karpi, has donated 1 million kroner to the Artificial Limbs and Polio Center (ALPC), which helps children in Gaza with prosthetic limbs. And they share the news themselves on social media.
“We know that many of you can’t think of anything else. This applies to us too […]. We are writing this because we want to be with you. Whether that’s NOK 50, NOK 5,000, or NOK 500,000,” they write.

Furthermore, Carby wrote that they realize that the situation in Gaza is highly unpredictable.
“We have no idea when this will end. So far, more than 15,000 people have been killed in Gaza. Almost half of them are children.”
According to Karbi, the ALPC was established in 1974, and it is the only center of its kind in Gaza that is not affiliated with the authorities and is a “non-profit” organization.
On Wednesday evening, it was also announced that this year’s Red Cross Honorary Award goes to Chirag Rashmikant Patel and Majdi Omar Yatrid Abdul Majeed, two Karbi members.
The reason is “their long-standing commitment to diversity, and to the conditions of development of young people, refugees, asylum seekers and migrants,” they wrote in a statement to VG.
