On Monday, Nettavisen wrote about the lawsuit that Michael O’Hare, the real-life hero in Oscars movie “The Blind Side” with Sandra Bullock, has filed a lawsuit against the Tuohy family.
O’Hare says that the story in The Blind Side was a lie and that the Tuohys profited from it for money. The suit stated that O’Hare believed he was adopted by the family, when in reality he was tricked into signing a document making them his guardians.

He has been suing the family he believes have taken advantage of him since 2004 – including selling the story behind “The Blind Side” without getting a penny. Instead, the money was divided among the Tuohy’s real children.
Now, the family’s attorney, Marty Singer, says Michael O’Hare’s accusations are unheard of, absurd and hurtful, and he says O’Hare tried to extort the family for $15 million. Nor should this be the first time O’Hare has tried to put pressure on the family. Singer says in a statement to TMZ Sports.
