Cristiano Ronaldo (39 years old) cheered like a teenager after he became the top scorer in the Saudi Football League.

He is the first player in history to become a top scorer in four different countries, according to football journalist Fabrizio Romano. X.

  • Top scorer in the Spanish League 2010–11, 2013–14, 2014–15.
  • Top scorer in the Italian League 2020-2021.
  • Top scorer in the English Premier League 2007-2008 season.
  • Top scorer in the Saudi Professional League 2023-2024.

Ronaldo's two goals in Al-Nasr's 4-2 victory over its guest, Al-Ittihad, raised the Portuguese to 35 goals this season.

The old record belongs to former Alesund player Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah and came from the 2018/19 season with 34 goals.

Ronaldo won brilliantly with 35 goals over Aleksandar Mitrovic with 27. Ronaldo also scored 11 assists, meaning 46 goal points.

However, Al Hilal won the series championship ahead of Al Nassr. The scores were 96 and 82, respectively.

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January 2023. Since then, he has scored 64 goals in 69 matches. VG recently visited Saudi Arabia and watched a match between Ronaldo's team and Al Hilal, led by Neymar.

In total, he has 765 goals in 22 years with Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Al-Nassr.

In the national team, he scored 128 goals in 206 matches.
