Russian actress Christina Asmus, 34, has been brought to trial after she posted on social media a “negative attitude toward the Russian military operation in Ukraine”.
On Wednesday, the court closed the administrative procedures for the lack of documents.
– Judge Denis Ivanov said, according to the TASS news agency, that the case against Asmus should be closed.
The actress, who was voted in 2010 as the sexiest woman in Russia, gets away with it.
Actress Tayana Rodina was sentenced last week to a fine of 50,000 rubles for inciting mistrust in the Russian army, the Russian news agency reported.
Throughout the war, the Russian authorities imposed severe restrictions on Russian coverage of the war in Ukraine. In March, the Russian State Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament, introduced a bill allowing prison sentences for people who spread “false information” about the war.
