British actor Dale Meeks has left his family Sky News. He lived to be 48 years old.
The family reacts to the new details
Best known for playing Simon Meredith in the TV series Emmerdale between 2003 and 2006, Mix was also in the 90s drama Byker Grove.
His brother Philip Mix says the actor lost his life as a result of a heart attack on Saturday night. He died at South Tyneside Hospital in Newcastle, England.
– My heart is broken, – says the brother.
In the series “Byker Grove,” Meeks played opposite duo Declan Donnely and Ant McPartlin, better known as Ant and Dec. They are now expressing their grief through social media.
“We are so sorry to hear the sad news of Dale’s death. He was the nicest man, despite being Denton’s ‘torch’, sworn enemy of Baker ‘Grovers’. A very sad and so young loss. Tore Dale. Sleep well, sweet man,” they wrote on Twitter.
