The civil defense of Chiapas state that it has been confirmed so far, killing 53 people and wounding 58 others. About 40 of them were seriously injured.
More than 100 people were crammed together inside the trailer. It is not uncommon for trailers and trucks in Mexico to carry a lot of immigrants.
Oh God, you poor people. These are immigrants. Look at all the dead, says a woman in a video. Reuters reports from the scene of the accident.
In the video, a white trailer rolled over on the ground. Dotted around the trailer are many people on the ground receiving health care. On the sidewalk are long rows of the dead covered with textiles.
Injury: Two migrants who survived relatively unharmed from the accident. The overthrow and the clash were so strong that nearly all of the emigrants were injured or killed.

The accident occurred on a highway on the way to the state capital Chiapas. The trailer overturned on a sharp turn and the trailer hit a pedestrian bridge.
– He swayed abruptly, and because of the weight of all the humans inside, he flipped over, says a man in a video clip that went viral on social media. Reuters writes.
It was not clear from which countries the migrants came, but many of the wounded were said to be Guatemalans.
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador wrote on Twitter that he is in mourning over this deeply painful incident.
