After Extinction Rebellion climate activists stuck themselves in a gallery in Storting Hall, a complaint was lodged with police by Storting. Many destructive politicians have described them as immoral and extremist.
But in 2021, outdoor furniture manufacturer Vestre entered into a three-year collaboration with AS Group, and they were awarded NOK 300,000. Commerce and Industry Minister John Christine Westre owns 70 percent of the company, and was general manager until he became secretary of state last fall.

In the fall of 2021, Vestre AS ended the collaboration two years ahead of schedule, while John Christian Westre was appointed Minister of Commerce and Industry by Prime Minister Jonas Kahr Store.
Dagbladet attributed the breach of the agreement to actions against airports in Sweden in October 2021.
– The destructive insurgency has taken action in several airports in Sweden and we believe it endangers life and health, which is something we do not want or can support, said Vestre, strategy and sustainability manager at øyvind Bjørnstad.

Over the past year, Extinction Rebellion has faced several fines and trials. Those who went to the church in Sky responded when Easter worship was interrupted by a perishing rebellion that tried to enter with the dead animals hanging on the cross.
They created a traffic jam when they blocked the road in front of the palace and entered Westray’s own corridors in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Dagbladet has seen documents showing that the agreement should be used for three years and that the Destructive Rebellion in 2022 and 2023 should receive more financial assistance. The company has only applied for the first year of the 300,000 received, but it has not been determined how much they will receive in the coming years.
The climate system reacts to the interpretation used by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to break the agency’s cooperation.

Dagbladet has asked Trade and Industry Minister John Christian Westray for an opinion, but the Ministry of Commerce and Industry points out that he and the furniture manufacturer have no further contact.
