Beyoncé's much-talked-about country album contains cover songs by both The Beatles and Dolly Parton.

There have long been rumors that Jolene would be on the “Country Carter” album released last night.

It turned out to be useful — so much so that Dolly Parton — or Dolly B as “the song” is called — read a short introduction herself.

– Hello, Miss Honey Bee, it's Dolly Bee, she says, with Jolene's tunes in the background.

“You know, she's got the good hair that she's singing about, reminds me of someone I used to know,” Parton says — perhaps a reference to the famous “Becky with the good hair” lyric in Beyoncé's song “Sorry” from 2016.

Another country legend who lent his voice to introduce one of the album's 27 songs is Willie Nelson.

Miley Cyrus, country music stars Tanner Adele and Willie Jones as well as rapper Post Malone are also on the list of guests who will appear.

In other words, nothing is spared when Queen Bey bets on the country.

She herself doesn't want to refer to “Country Carter” as a country album, but as a Beyoncé album. Before the release of the full album, fans were able to listen to the songs “Texas Hold 'em” and “16 Carriages”, which have already found their way to the top of the charts.

Beyoncé also found space for a Beatles song on the new recording, specifically “Blackbird.” Paul McCartney's 1968 song is about nine black teenagers entering what was an all-whites school in Arkansas in the 1950s.
