Donald Trump – Break the mask

Donald Trump – Break the mask

NEW YORK (Dagbladet): Trump has been indicted on 34 counts of falsifying business documents to cover up a hush-money payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.

The judge in that case, Juan Merchan, has now concluded that Trump repeatedly broke his mask. He is fined $1,000 for each violation.

According to CNN, Trump showed no reaction when he was fined.

The mask means he is not allowed to talk about the witnesses in the trial, the jurors, the lawyers, or any of their family members. In all, Merchan believes Trump broke his mouth nine times. This means he was fined $9,000 (just under 100,000 kroner).

Today, Thursday, the United States Supreme Court begins considering the issue of whether former President Donald Trump enjoys immunity from criminal prosecution because of his influence on the elections.

Trump is also being ordered to remove his posts on Truth Social, which the judge finds violated the mask mandate.

Merchan says he is concerned that the defendant has a constitutional right to express his opinion, but he will not tolerate curfew violations. If Trump continues to attack other actors in the case, the judge wrote that he “will impose prison time.” Merchan has the opportunity to jail Trump for up to 30 days on a mask violation charge.

Trump's trial continues today in New York. The first witness is bank employee Gary Farrow, who is said to have helped Trump's fixer and former lawyer, Michael Cohen, obtain the money that reportedly went to porn actress Stormy Daniels.

He claims there are no indications that the money Cohen received was going to be used to help a political candidate. Cohen allegedly told him the $130,000 would go to real estate investments.

– This could have led to an additional comprehensive review, if the bank had known, Farrow says in the witness box.

He says the warning lights at the bank would also have gone off if they had heard the money was going to someone in the porn industry.

“It's an industry we don't work in,” Farrow says.
