Last: Rescue helicopter searched for landslides and Snåsavatnet undetected. Police said on Twitter that there were no signs of people or cars being killed in the landslide.
The landslide area should be approx. 50 m wide and 4-5 m high with boulders.
– Police and fire brigades are engaged in search operations in the area by drones.
Øystein Sagen told the NRK tonight at the Police Action Center.
– A rescue helicopter from Ørlandet is also on its way to the crash site. It is expected to land at 00.15.
A motorist came to E6 and reported the landslide.
The complaint was received by police at 22.55 Sunday.
No missing messages
No complaint has been lodged with the police so far.
And they have no other indication that anyone was trapped in the landslide, but will still search fully.
– This is E6 and basically a busy road. The landslide area is also large, Sekan says.
I will search on Snåsavatnet
Once on the SAR Queen site, it will first start with a search on Snåsavatnet. Must have crossed the landslide road and gone into the water.
Then they will look for people lying on the landslide and on the road.
Finally, look for the slope across the road.
– There will be no buildings at the site of the landslide across the road, but we are still fully searching in this area, says Sekan.
E6 will be closed for a long time
According to Vegtrafiksentralen midt, the E6 will be closed until at least Monday afternoon.
The recommended diversion is Fv. 763.
