“Eid” – that’s not true

Several British tabloids, including the Daily Mail and The Sun, have reported good news for those who love the Christmas classic “The Holiday”:

There was supposed to be a sequel.

Now, however, director Nancy Meyers has dashed fans’ hopes.

“So many messages about this. Sorry, but it’s not true,” Myers wrote Instagram.

The message provokes reactions. The post has received more than 2,000 comments and many say they want a sequel.

The popular Christmas movie came out in 2006, and many people still watch it every Christmas. It’s a movie that stars, among others, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Jack Black and Kate Winslet in the lead roles.
