On December 14, news broke that Stephen “tWitch” Boss, better known as the DJ on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” had passed away at the age of 40.
His wife, Allison Holker (34), confirmed this to People. In addition to his wife, he left behind three children.

– sad
After the sudden death, Ellen DeGeneres, 64, shared a few words about her deceased colleague.
“Burning my heart. Witch was pure love and light. He was my family and I loved him with all my heart,” DeGeneres captioned a photo of the two shortly after the news broke.
Now appearing for the first time after the shock announcement, she shares a few more words about her best friend.
– welcome. I just wanted to say that the past eleven days have been very difficult for everyone, she says at the outset in a video shared on Instagram.
Everyone is in pain, and we are trying to understand that. But we will never understand it. In the video, she says the holidays are hard, too.

– Been on a lot of bangs
She also says that the holidays will be very difficult this year, but they will honor their Boss by hugging, dancing, and telling them they love each other.
“Let’s honor him, think of him and send love to each other,” says a visibly moved DeGeneres.
She doesn’t hide the fact that it’s especially hard to remember someone you lost during the festive season.
– I know it sounds difficult and impossible. We tell each other we love each other, reassure others that we are there for them and check in with each other. Have a nice holiday everyone. I know it’s not a happy holiday but it was just as light as many of you write in the comments section. In conclusion, she says: If you knew it, you knew it, and if you didn’t, you saw it.
