In the final trailer for the Whitney Houston movie, we see Naomi Aki as a superstar. Online feedback is divided.

On Thursday came the official announcement of the biopic “I Want to Dance with Someone” from Sony.

There we see Naomi Aki (30) as the pop icon herself, Ashton Sanders as Bobby Brown and Stanley Tucci as Clive Davis.

Sonnen described the film as “a candid portrait of the complex and multifaceted woman behind The Voice”. Type diverse.

The newly released trailer received mixed reviews online, but Naomi Aki is already getting praise for her role.

“This is a biography of Whitney. The actor delivers » Twitter user writes.

Others are more important.

“Do We Still Need a Whitney Houston Biography?”one asks.

Another wonders if the documentary series wouldn’t have been better, a reference to Houston’s difficult time with substance abuse.

Some fans showed their distaste for the film because the singer’s sister-in-law, Pat Houston, is on the production side.

Who is responsible for the biography of Whitney Houston? If Pat Houston was involved, I wouldn’t see him. Sorry, but I can’t. The way Whitney served, in my opinion, was ugly.”

Houston is a girl choir who has become one of the best selling artists in the world. In recent years, she struggled with substance abuse, before dying in 2012 of drowning in a Beverly Hills hotel room.

Screenwriter Anthony McCarten also wrote the screenplay for “Bohemian Rhapsody”, and the film is directed by Kasi Lemmons.
