The reason for the recall is suspected salmonella.

The products are sold in Rema 1000, Kiwi, Meny, Spar, Eurospar, Joker, Nærbutikken, Bunnpris and Coop stores nationwide, Bama said in a press release.

The products have been removed from store shelves and should be discarded if you have any at home.

Salmonella outbreaks are rare in Norway, according to the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.

The most common sources of infection are meat products, especially pork and poultry, as well as eggs and egg products, unpasteurized dairy products or powdered milk, shellfish, contaminated vegetables and spices.


Salmonellosis
