Manchester City opened the season, Sunday, with a 2-0 win over West Ham after two goals from Erling Braut Haaland.
After the match, Sportbible published a case in which the focus was on teammate Grealish, who they believed had a small feud on the sidelines with coach Pep Guardiola along the way.
strikes back
The matter was also shared on Twitter, where Grealish noticed it and felt compelled to respond.
Grealish wrote – Holy damn, whatever you just wrote didn’t happen, followed by a smiley face emoji.
Then he went even harder against Sportbible, explaining the background to the conversation with Guardiola.
– What a dirty page! He gave me tactical advice. Ask him yourself if you say anything to him.
– Love her
The article was later deleted from the Sportbible Twitter account. It is also not visible on the website website long.
However, Grealish’s response has been picked up by many, including the website catchoffside.com. A number of Twitter users also got the City star’s reaction.
– It’s good for Jack Grealish to respond directly to social media “fake news” from the self-proclaimed “Sportbible” who has spoken out about Jack and Pep against West Ham, one writes.
– I love how Sportbible heard that from Jack Grealish and then they deleted their tweet. Sportbible is certified fake news, another writes.
