Football star David Njoku shows his face after burns

Nearly two weeks ago, 27-year-old NFL star David Njoku was involved in an accident at his home where he ended up with serious burns to his face and arms. The incident occurred when he was lighting a campfire at the end of September.

Since the accident, Njoku has hidden his face from the public, although he has appeared during games for the Kelseyland Browns – the team he plays for.

Then his face was covered. In public places he wore a mask.

But on Thursday night, the football star shared a number of photos on Instagram showing the injuries he sustained to his face following the incident.

The images also show how the burn damage developed between the two images that were taken.

Exactly what happened and the extent of the damage is currently unknown.
