This year's Førdefestival is underway. Unfortunately, the weather gods haven't quite figured it out, and the first few days of the festival are mostly grey clouds and, unfortunately, typical Førde weather.
Expected rain in the future means that the festival management has decided to move the two events.
Breakfast transfer to Førdehuset
The first thing to move is the usual festival breakfast on Saturday morning. The time will be the same, from 09.00 to 10.30, but the breakfast will be moved away from the courtyard next to the town hall.
The new venue for the festival breakfast is hosted in the sports hall at Førdehuset.
The program remains unchanged, while the artists and the people remain dry.
The artists who will appear during the breakfast are:
- Malian guitar legend Boubacar Traore.
- 8 man band from Trinidad/Canada: Cobo Town.
- The dance troupe Kartell will also perform An Dran Drin Drekt.
Away from Havstadfjellet
The second event to be broadcast is the concert with the Lina Jonsson Trio.
This was originally scheduled to take place at Hafstadfjellet. In consultation with the tour team, it has now been moved to under the tent roof in the park. Concert time is 12.30.
