Benjamin Netanyahu is being criticized because the country was in a state of complete surrender when Hamas terrorists attacked on October 7. Many are also angry about the handling afterwards.

He has built his career on safety
Benjamin Netanyahu built his political career on the fact that, as a former elite soldier, he was the right man to provide security for the country and the security of its citizens.

He and people like him expected Netanyahu to take full responsibility after the defeat when 1,000 Hamas terrorists forced their way deep into Israel on October 7.

The general is surprised that Netanyahu chose to bomb Hamas instead of trying to negotiate the release of the hostages.
