(France – Gibraltar 14-0) Kylian Mbappe and France broke Germany’s record for the biggest win in European Championship qualifiers.
Germany beat San Marino 13–0 in 2006, the record for the most European Championship qualifying wins since then.
Now there’s a new record holder. Mbappé, Olivier Giroud and company did not give up until the score was 14-0 on the scoreboard in France.
Mbappe scored three goals, Giroud scored two, and Kingsley Coman also signed… The French stars did what they wanted against Gibraltar. A total of nine players reached the scorers list.
It’s still a short way to reach the world record. Australia beat American Samoa 31-0 in 2001.
