Although Gordon Ramsay, 57, has won a number of awards and is known for his passion for cooking, it is clear that his dishes are not always to his liking.
– We are completely devastated
Ramsay recently collaborated with luxury retailer Harrods. Together they created the “Double Stack Smash Burger” – a so-called smash burger with mozzarella, pickled onions and jalapeños. The dish retails for £29, or about 390 Norwegian kroner, and is the most expensive burger on the menu.
After a video of Ramsay's burger was shared on the company's Instagram account, it didn't have to be well received.
Chef and former MasterChef contestant, Michael Carr, commented on the video, according to Jam Press News Agency.
“The burger looks very dry,” he reportedly wrote.
Carr was a contestant on “Masterchef: The Professionals” in 2019 and owns his own catering company.
Carr is not alone in his opinion, and it appears that many people are criticizing Ramsay's burger.
Another wrote: “Sorry Gordon, but it looks like the cheese has pooled on top of the burger.”
“It tastes like vomit,” says a third.
Neither Harrods nor Gordon Ramsay have yet commented on the criticism.
