The 53-year-old accused of murder says he was drunk and intoxicated the night Honey Wyeth, 23, was found dead.
– I drank a lot of beer, says the man while explaining the 34-year trial.

“No, I didn’t,” the man replied.
When asked why he was so confident in his answer, the man said:
– Because I don't remember being there.
DNA and footprints
The prosecutor asked whether it was true that he did not remember anything from the time he left Lades Kælder's place until he returned to the warship where he served his conscription.
– This is correct.
The man admits that his DNA and footprints were found in Wyeth's apartment.
“So I must have been there,” the man says.
Beating and stabbing
The woman was found murdered in her apartment in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, on the night of January 1, 1990. She had been beaten and stabbed several times.
He was a drug addict and a prostitute. Police are convinced that it was the sex client who killed the young woman.
The accused, who works as a butcher, says that he has never accompanied prostitutes, taken care of them, or touched them before.
The issue may be resolved.
Police secured DNA traces in the form of microscopic skin cells found on Hanne With's jeans.
DNA analysis showed that the DNA material came from a close family member of a particular person, and his DNA was found in a police DNA record, police in Copenhagen announced earlier this year.
