In recent years, he has led the audience favorite “Spectacles” and other TV shows, combining his career as a comedian with his education as a sociologist.
However, it has been a long time in recent years since Norwegian television viewers have been able to see the famous comedian as a presenter or participant in a TV show, without some small guest appearances here and there.
Not consciously
However, this spring he once again appeared on several TV shows. He explains the reason for not working in front of the cameras in previous years as follows:
-The fact that I haven't watched much TV has to do with the fact that I've done other things like podcasts and lectures as well. This wasn't a conscious choice, but I choose what I find interesting, Eya tells Netafisin.

– Now I think it's fun to make podcasts with Tore Sagen, and then I spend a lot of time on it, explains Eia.
“But when I think about it, it's probably been a while since I've been on TV,” he admits.
– hard to be satisfied
As previously mentioned, Eia is doubly prominent this spring with TV 2 shows “Vinnerschkalle” and major investment “The Game”, in the former of which he appears in the popular character “Oslolosen”.
The character was first introduced on the NRK show “Ut i vår hage 2” in 2008, but has been used extensively by the comedian throughout. He told Nettavisen that it was the reunion with the character that brought him back to television, among other things.
– It seemed fun, especially when it became possible to be Oslosen again. I thought I should get good at it, and the “game” seemed interesting to me, says Eya.
It seems that the comedian has chosen the right programs to return with. In March, TV 2 was able to report that TV 2's new concept “The Game” has so far averaged 900,000 viewers, while the first episode has surpassed 1 million viewers.
