Darwin Nunez had a great two days after the win over Newcastle.

The Uruguayan hasn’t been given much playing time so far this season, but it’s questionable if that will change after the two stunning goals at St James’ Park on Sunday.

And soon the Liverpool striker became a topic.

– I see a very fast striker who gets a lot of chances, and last season he missed a lot of them. The most important thing about goalscorers is being there when the opportunity arises, and it’s the kind of thing that often ends up in these kinds of situations. “Then you can also miss some of it,” Lineker tells Richards.

There are promising words to be heard from Lineker, who was an outstanding goalscorer for Leicester City, Barcelona and Tottenham in the 1980s and 1990s.

And the football expert believes the potential could have been seen in last year’s season as well. The 24-year-old finished with nine Premier League goals.

Being a good scorer also means that you will miss many opportunities. He just needs to work on finishing attacks because there is no doubt that he is an amazing goalscorer.

Lineker is backed by another notorious goalscorer, Alan Shearer. The former striker remains the Premier League’s all-time leading goalscorer with 260 goals online.
