Helena Christensen: - Devastated: - I can't find the words

Danish model Helena Christensen, 54, shared a very personal and heartbreaking post with her social media followers. On Instagram, she has 1 million followers and here too she shares the sad news that she has lost her father.

“Father. There are no words alone to describe what a kind, caring, humble and lovely husband and father you have been. And there is not enough time in this life to thank you for all you have given us,” she wrote at the beginning.

The former Victoria’s Secret model points out how much those around him admire her father, and how much he takes care of his wife and daughters.

“You have instilled in us a sense of calm and safety with so much love, wisdom and laughter, and more than anything, you have given us wonderful memories that keep coming back to me. You always held my hand when I was a little girl, we enjoyed ourselves in your red leather chair and read stories, you rode We took our little girls to the bakery on a Sunday morning and she gave us the best music of our childhood,” she writes further.

The 54-year-old looks back on a number of memories with his dad, says he was always present, and smiles while telling jokes.

“I have everything to thank you and my mom for. I realized in the later years of your life that you showed me true strength when you fought to be able to be with your family for so long and you didn’t want to leave us. You’ll always be with us dad, and I’ll keep waving,” she writes wistfully.
