Henne Rystad was voted the best in the world

Heni Rystad has been named the Handball Player of the Year 2022 by Handball Planet.

This is the first time the 24-year-old has won. The Esbjerg player won ahead of Stine Bredal Oftedal in the selection voted on by the fans and rated by the jury – there. A total of 53,326 have participated in Handball Planet survey.

Henne Rystad won the Champions League with the Vipers in 2021. She scored 12 goals in the final, her last match for the club.
