Al-Arouri was killed in a drone strike this week along with a number of other Hamas leaders. Israel is accused of being behind this.
Al-Arouri is one of the founders of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, and led Hamas’ presence in the occupied West Bank.
The residents of northern Israel, including the settlers, will be the first to pay the price of the war, as Nasrallah said in a speech he delivered on Friday.
Moreover, he says that if Israel succeeds in achieving its goals in the Gaza Strip, southern Lebanon will be next.
A historic opportunity
He added that the current military operations in the border areas with Israel in the south give Lebanon a “historic opportunity” to liberate the territories occupied by Israel.
On Wednesday, Nasrallah described the killing of Al-Arouri as a major and dangerous crime, and said that if Israel launched a war on Lebanon, there would be no limits to how Hezbollah could fight.
According to Nasrallah, Hezbollah has carried out about 670 military operations in the border area with Israel since October 8, and he said that “a large number of Israeli ships and tanks” had been destroyed.
76,000 paid for the trip
A report by the International Organization for Migration stated that 76,018 people were displaced as a result of clashes between Lebanon and Israel.
175 people were killed in the fighting, including 129 Hezbollah fighters and at least 20 civilians, according to an Agence France-Presse tally.
In northern Israel, nine soldiers and five civilians were killed, according to Israeli authorities. Hezbollah attacks Israeli soldiers on the border on an almost daily basis in support of Hamas.
