Police also reported their presence at the scene.
– Some smoke in the area, but it appears to be limited in scope, says the Eastern Police District.
Duty manager at East 110 Central, Atli Ronning, said the fire service received a report of smoke in a room at 14.11.
– Since it is a hospital, we sent significant resources. It now appears that the fire has been extinguished and that we are in the post-extinguishing phase, Ronning tells RB.
It is reported that the floor was quickly evacuated, and that he has not yet received any information about the injured.
Police stated that they did not have a complete overview of the situation, but that the smoke should be limited to a specific room in the gastroenterology department.
