Husband of ‘One Tree Hill’ star Bevin Prince dies after lightning

The husband of William Friend (33) to actor Bevin Prince (39) died in the movie “One Tree Hill”. North Carolina’s local news station reports WECT6 News.

According to local authorities, a friend was found on a boat, after he was struck by lightning during a storm near Masonborough Island, off the coast of Wilmington in the United States.

The New Hanover Police sent its marine unit, after several eyewitnesses reported the accident. They performed life-saving first aid on the 33-year-old, before he was taken ashore where they attempted to revive him for 20 minutes.

Unfortunately, a life cannot be saved.

Honoring

Prince’s friend and fellow actress Odette Annabel, 37, confirmed the sad news on her friend’s behalf, paying tribute to her friend on Instagram.

“The unimaginable happened, and we had to say hate to our friend William. My best friend Bevin her dear husband,” she wrote under the photo and continued:

“You were perfect for her in every way. You supported her dreams, made her feel visible, loved her with every part of your soul, and I will always be grateful to witness that kind of love.

The photo is from the prince’s wedding day he posted on his Instagram last year, marking five years as husband and wife.

Gym opened

Prince made his acting debut in 2004, in the role of Bevin Mirsky in the popular youth series “One Tree Hill”, which was shown on screens from 2003 to 2012.

The former actor now works as a fitness trainer on “Recess by Bevin Prince,” which the couple released together in 2019.
