We are still waiting for a proper update on injuries to Diogo Jota and Curtis Jones, after the pair were substituted before half-time in Saturday's match against Brentford.
Andy Hunter in The Guardian He is one of the journalists with the best view of the club, and is now reporting that Jota and Jones will lose in Sunday's League Cup final.
The way the TV images looked, there probably weren't many who were hoping they would make it to the games against Luton and Chelsea this week anyway, but they have now been scrutinised, and Hunter writes that it has been confirmed that the duo will lose both games.
It needs further examination
Hunter also writes that Jota and Jones will be examined further before it is clear how long they will be out, but he also quotes Portugal's Record magazine who reported on Sunday evening that Jota will be out for two months. Then he will reach the final weeks of the season and not lose the European Championship.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is also set to miss this week, while Dominik Szoboszlai and Alisson Becker are seen as uncertain with their hamstring injuries. It was certainly muscle feeling that caused Darwin Nunez to be substituted at half-time in Saturday's game.
Jurgen Klopp will hold a press conference on Tuesday, after which you can expect more information on his ever-growing injury list.
