In June, Jennifer Lopez (54 years old) will go on tour for the first time in more than five years.
Setting fire to the web
But so far it has not been a bed of roses for Lopez. Shortly after tickets were made available, she canceled a number of concerts without public reason.
Many people speculated whether this was due to poor ticket sales. If you take a quick look at the different concerts, there are still a significant amount of free tickets almost two months after they were posted.
The reports prompted Lopez to take action diverse.
Eliminates
The tour, originally called “This Is Me… Now”, based on her new album of the same name, is now called “This Is Me… Live – The Greatest Hits”.
So it seems that Lopez saw himself forced into a complete makeover, instead enticing the audience by promising that it would be a hit show, rather than focusing on the new music.
Because like ticket sales for the tour, the new album wasn't a huge hit either, Variety writes.
When it was released in February, the album sold only 14,000 copies in its first week, and debuted at number 38 on the Billboard chart.
– He was angry for a long time
Lopez himself paid for the album and accompanying film. The star is said to have pumped as much as $20 million, or more than NOK 213 million, into the project.
